My reflection after reading content found from/in above link:
When I was underage in the city, besides shows at the Fireside and subsequent house parties in (then shady parts of) Humboldt Park, Logan Square and Wicker Park, we spent a lot of time walking around and also smoking cigarettes and spending money on mediocre food at 24-diners like:
Once someone moved into the city, we then spent most of our time over there drinking, smoking, spending money on mediocre delivery and walking around. We were simple folk.
I also remember hating being underage in the city: no 21+ shows, not being able to join older friends for a night out (or when I could, risking the jobs of my friends working the door).
Oh memories. So glad for the fun memories.
