    modern love

Not love. Definitely not love. Maybe more like lust. Okay more like “I’m keeping you in my pocket for an emergency.”

I met a guy at Pitchfork while volunteering. He lives in Champaign, we’ve been keeping in touch and he has actually visited me here in Chicago. Super cool dude and not my usual type (meaning he is almost too good to be true). Problem is… my phone “died” on me almost two weeks ago, I couldn’t back it up, but I assumed that since it was linked with my main Google account, I wouldn’t lose much information.

    WRONG.

I went to text him the other night and his entry was gone. Poof. Vanished.

Here’s my modern dilemma: to Facebook stalk him or not to Facebook stalk him. I know we have mutual friends through the CU scene (even though I am so far removed). He isn’t a big internet guy though. Do I try to find him and send him a “I lost your number” message? Or is that weird? I’m sure I’ll get a text from him sometime soon but I kinda forgot to respond to his last correspondence so…

Way to many words were just committed to this #firstworldproblem but oh well. Advice?
